General overview...

The Beneteau 54 is the product of years of building charter yachts for all the big players in the industry; needless to say it is perfectly suited to the task.

This is an owner version of the Oceanis 54 so it offers space and comfort not ordinarily found in a charter yacht. It offers a large master cabin forward with private head and shower and 2 large aft cabins with a very spacious shared head and shower. The salon and all cabins can be air conditioned.

The huge cockpit is totally covered by its equally huge fixed bimini, an absolute must here in sunny Thailand and the twin wheels not only provide the much valued walk-through transom but they also allow you to make minor adjustments to your partners helming without them noticing...

Accommodations

This being an owner version of the Oceanis 54, it offers space and comfort not ordinarily found in a charter yacht. It offers a large master cabin forward with private head and shower and 2 large aft cabins with a very spacious shared head and shower. The salon and all cabins can be air conditioned.

Galley

The galley is equipped with a gimbaled combination hob and oven, twin wash sinks and 2 large front loading refrigerators with over a cubic meter of chilled space. Cupboard space is plentiful even with all of the galley gear safely stowed there remains plenty of space to stow provisions within easy reach.

Cockpit

The cockpit is generously proportioned and maximizes the seating both forward of the pedestal and aft. The helms seat folds out and can be stowed easily providing a flat walkway through to the transom.

Rig and handling

The mast head sloop rig is substantial with a In-mast-furling main sail and roller furling Genoa new and sailing speeds of 7 knots are relatively easy to achieve. All lines are lead back to the cockpit making handling is safe and easy.

Anchoring is made easy with a full 50m chain rode with 20kg Bruce anchor and large chain windlass operated from the bow. The tender is towed and has sufficient space for 6 adults for short journeys and is powered with a 6hp outboard engine.
